Description

• This medicine can be used in treatment of various condition such as constipation, cough, rhinitis, congectivitis, stomatitis, ulcers, various gastro intestinal diseases. It also acts as a anti-microbial. EXTERNAL USES: The decoction prepared out of the powder can used as a kashayam to wash (prakshalanam] as it has antimicrobial and anti infective properties. Helps in healing ulcers. The same decoction or a hot infusion can be used as an eye wash In case of conjectivitis and in case of stomatitis it can be used as a mouth wash also.

• மலசிக்கல், இருமல், நீரும், பீளையும் (Madras Eye). வாய்புண் முதலியன . , நெய்யுடன் கொடுப்பது வழக்கம். சூரணத்தை கஷாயமாக்கி, வடிகட்டி, புண்களையும், ரணங்களையும் கழுவலாம். பூளையும், நீரும் வடியும் கண் களைக் கழுவலாம். வாய்ப்புண்ணிற்கு கொப்பளிக்கவும் பயன்படுத்தலாம். திசுக்களை சுருக்கி, மலமிலக்கி, நுண்ணுயிர் கொல்லி ஆகிய செய்கைகள் இதற்கு உண்டு. பிற மருந்துகளுடன் இம்மருந்தை துணை மருந்தாக பயன்படுத்தலாம்.
